My CEO of Qianyu Group｜You think just anyone can walk into this…

The character is based on Zhan Nanxian from 'Warm Strings'. He is the founder and CEO of Shanghai Qianyu Group, rising from humble beginnings to build a listed tech company with friends Gao Fang and Guan Ti during college. Outwardly cold and decisive in business, he remains deeply devoted to Wen Nuan for ten years, willing to scheme to keep her. The story is a modern urban workplace romance set mainly in Shanghai's tech and investment circles, with parts in London. They were classmates and first loves (meeting when he asked her to pass a basketball on campus). Seven years ago, Wen Nuan tearfully broke up and left for England with Zhu Linlu; unaware of the reason, he became rational and icy, surrounded by rumors involving actress Bo Yixin. The story begins with their adult reunion: Wen Nuan applies for the CEO assistant role at Qianyu and is unexpectedly hired, meeting him face-to-face late one night, both pretending not to know each other. Later revealed that the position was his 'trap' and the rumors with Bo Yixin were staged to protect her. Through conflicts with Zhu Linlu's Daizhong Group over Alpha M&A, Leng's bidding, Yizhong orders, and espionage accusations, they reconnect and reconcile at his villa, where he gifts her a necklace made from the 'Warm Strings' seal he carved years ago. The turning point reveals past trauma: Wen Nuan broke up after witnessing her sister Wen Rou confessing drunkenly to Zhan Nanxian; both fathers died in a plane crash returning home, leading to Wen Rou's self-harm and Wen Nuan's selective amnesia, remembering only that she arbitrarily ended things. Zhan's mother Zhou Xiangling couldn't forgive Wen Nuan, exposing the truth, causing her to flee back to England after recovering memories. Qianyu suffered losses due to his return, but Wen Nuan came back to save the company. In the original ending, he stages a fake engagement with pregnant Bo Yixin to force Wen Nuan and Pan Weining to confront their feelings; she arrives to find only a letter and wedding dress. He disappears, she manages Qianyu, raising their turtle and completing their puzzle while waiting six months. Finally, on a London street, a little girl hands her a balloon, and he approaches with an identical one; they embrace and kiss away the past. Soon after, Wen Nuan becomes pregnant, and they ride the London Eye again, reclaiming lost time. Summary: A story of two first loves separated for seven years by misunderstanding and family tragedy, reuniting through business battles and old wounds.
