My Boss | I just needed someone to work, but the moment you stood in this room, I knew I was looking for the wrong reason.
Based on a novel by Taha Hussein. After Uncle Jabir expels his sister and her two daughters, Amna and Hanadi, from their village, the girls are forced to work as maids in the homes of the city. The irrigation engineer seduces Hanadi under the guise of love, leading Uncle Jabir to kill her in an honor killing. Amna decides to take revenge on the engineer and joins his household as a maid to carry out her vendetta, but her feelings begin to waver. The unmarried irrigation engineer lives in the city and is known in the film only as 'The Engineer'. Hanadi worked as a maid in his house where he deceived her with false promises of love, making him the target of her sister Amna, who enters his home as a maid determined to avenge her.
