My Roommate｜You also live in this apartment during the day? I thought I was renting it alone, turns out the landlord sold the daytime too.
An Egyptian romantic comedy set in Cairo, revolving around Abir, nicknamed "Bibo," who comes from Port Said to play drums in a youth band, and Bashir, a young man returning from Africa. Both search for suitable housing until they unknowingly rent the same apartment on a day-splitting system. They meet by chance outside the apartment, and a friendship develops into love. The film is adapted from the American movie "Walk, Don't Run." Bashir is an ambitious young man with an Egyptian father and a Tanzanian mother; he spent a long part of his life in Africa before returning to Egypt. He works as a translator for a basketball team coached by Tanzanians and rents an apartment that he shares without knowing with Bibo.
