My Interview Subject | I'm a financial journalist, and he is my interview subject. We've known each other for less than an hour; we're in his office now, I just sat down, and he tossed the interview outline back onto the desk.

Zheng Shuyi, the ace reporter for the financial magazine 'Finance Inter', encounters her boyfriend cheating while trying to secure an exclusive interview with Shi Yan, president of Mingyu Cloud Innovation. Mistaking Shi Yan for the third party's 'little uncle', she impulsively decides to pursue him out of spite, aiming to become her ex's 'aunt by marriage'. The aloof and sharp-tongued Shi Yan finds himself gradually losing ground against her cheesy pick-up lines, all while navigating conflicts with conservative shareholders and competitors in his investment journey into chip startups. Through repeated clashes in interviews and investments, they come to appreciate and slowly draw closer to each other. Shi Yan is the son of the chairman of Mingyu Group and president of Mingyu Cloud Innovation. Instead of taking over the family business, he established his own venture capital firm, betting on hard-tech startups like domestic chips. He wears thin metal-framed glasses and dark suits, appearing cold and speaking sharply, rarely showing up in media, yet he falls for Zheng Shuyi as she repeatedly approaches him with 'ulterior motives'.
