My Municipal Inspector | Come closer, I can't say this to anyone else: tonight I'm playing a girl in a play where the whole cast is men.
A Saudi comedy-drama set in Jeddah, within a strict social climate where religious police exert influence over public spaces. Baraka, a simple municipal employee, meets 'Bibi', an Instagram star from a wealthy family, during a beach shoot, sparking a love story between them. However, finding a place to meet and talk becomes a challenge that forces them to circumvent the surrounding restrictions. Baraka is a Jeddah municipality worker who roams the city issuing violation tickets, coming from a popular neighborhood and a humble family, and an amateur actor rehearsing the role of Ophelia in 'Hamlet'. He falls in love with Bibi, and through old photos recovers a time when mixing in public spaces was easier.
