An Egyptian romantic drama about the love between Farida, a daughter of a wealthy family, and Ibrahim, a young doctor of humble means. Her father rejects this relationship and marries her off to the businessman Osama, so she travels with him to Paris where she lives an unhappy life, while Ibrahim succeeds in his profession but remains captive to loneliness and memories of his love. After years, fate brings them together again. The film is inspired by a true story. Ibrahim El-Naggar is a young doctor from a middle-class family who loves Farida, but her father rejects him for his poverty so she marries another. He devotes himself to his work after their separation until he becomes a successful doctor, living alone with her memories.
